#TheGreatBeautyofGuangdong Known as"the first overseas Chinese residence in Lingnan",the former residence of Chen Cihong,located in Qianmei Village,Chenghai District,Shantou City,is the largest and best-preserved overseas Chinese residence in the Lingnan region.

While walking into the old residence,a variety of Chaoshan traditional crafts including Chaoshan golden lacquer wood carving,stone carving,inlaid porcelain,and colored paintings can be seen everywhere.Each courtyard and room of the residence has its own charm and characteristics and the styles of the floor tiles are also different.The unique style of the cave is reflected here.

In recent years,after a series of renovations and revitalization,the former residence of Chen Cihong has become one of the favorite sightseeing spots for many tourists during their trip to Chaoshan.It is also the epitome of Shantou's efforts to build an overseas Chinese brand.

陈慈黉故居，位于汕头市澄海区前美村,是岭南地区规模最大、保存最完整的侨宅，有“岭南第一侨宅”美称。

走进陈慈黉故居，潮汕金漆木雕、石雕、嵌瓷、彩绘……多种潮汕传统工艺随处可见，穿梭于不同庭院中，每间院子与房间各具韵味与特色，地砖的样式也不尽相同，移步换景，独具洞天的风格在此体现。

近年来，经过一系列修缮活化，陈慈黉故居已成为许多游客潮汕之旅中最喜爱的游览景点之一，也是汕头市全力打造侨品牌的一处缩影。
